About CORE Contractors
In the summer of 2020, we decided to open Construction Operations and Renovation Experts, also known as CORE Contractors. With the rising cost of materials and transportation across the nation, there was a definitive need in the marketplace for a national construction company that employed multi-trade trained technicians to help reduce construction and facility costs for national retailers.
Working closely with our clients, consisting of retail stores, restaurants, and supply chains, we were able to find cost-effective solutions and value-added services to help them best achieve their goals.
We provide our clients with both multi-trade, trained technicians as well as CORE partner managed services. Through our rigorous hiring and on-boarding process we are able to employ elite, multifaceted technicians that are skilled in all areas of the construction process. When the need arises, through our CORE Partner Managed Services we are able to manage specific trades such as plumbing, mechanical, electrical and design needs tailored to each individual project. This process allows us to hone in on each unique project and truly define the customers needs in order to save them time, and reduce costs.
Meet our Team
Raymond Wilhite
Co-Founder
Raymond has been working in Facilities since 2008. He excels in managing complex, difficult projects with a diversity of tasks and goals. As one of the co-founders of CORE Contractors, he works daily to give a customer centered approach to each individual project and client’s needs while leading and growing an energetic team at CORE. Raymond holds several state certified Contractor licenses including Florida since 2010, he also graduated with his MBA in 2019 from the University of South Florida.
Raymond is married to his lovely wife Brittany, and they have three wonderful children, Sadie, Rhett and Avery.
Roberto Cervantes
Project Coordinator
Robert has successfully managed office administration roles throughout his career. He has incorporated his expertise in streamlining all facets of an originations back office while combining his construction acumen, allowing him the ability to provide support and direction for clients and crews in a timely and effective manner. While Robert enjoys his duties with CORE Contractors, he also enjoys coaching youth soccer as a licensed coach and mentor to youth players. Robert and his wife recently had a baby boy, Luca, who he one day hopes to coach on and off the soccer fields.
Clay Hines
Project Manager
Clay Hines has been a business owner in the construction industry for 10+ years. He holds multiple certificates for welding and Steel Fabrication. Over the course of his career, he has traveled around the country for various projects, from the Texas oil fields to Disney World Attractions. Now he gets to bring his knowledge working with CORE as a project manager, keeping the restaurant operations at the top of their game. Clay and his Wife Nellie celebrated the birth of their first child, Hazel Jane in January 2022.
